The VNX module was developed to diminish the cost of establishing high-flow-rate CEDI systems and to facilitate the choice of a clean and environmentally harmonious technology in place of chemically regenerated mixed bed ion exchange systems. CEDI modules with higher flow rates facilitate easier piping and system assembly by reducing the requisite number of modules.
